The Weekend

This weekend was busy and flew by way too fast. Danny and I took a couple of trips to Doctor's Hospital to visit my dad. He was diagnosed with Diabetes on Thursday and they were trying to get his sugar down. He's home now and on the mend. It's just going to take some time to get his meds regulated. I'm glad it was caught when it was, before things got too bad.

Danny has been battling the rain. Our backyard and patio flood everytime it rains. He decided to build us a French drain to help with the problem. So now our backyard is a muddy, mess. I tried to help him, but I'm not very good at nor do I like outside work. If I'm outside, I prefer to be relaxing.

While Danny was working in the mud, I was playing bride. My friends, Stephanie and Jason, are starting a wedding video business and needed someone to make a demo video on to practice their filming techniques and to show people. Basically, I played dress up and got video taped. We went to Idle Hour park and downtown to film. The day ended with me jumping in a couple of fountains. I had alot of fun. I can't wait to see the finished product. If I can I will post it later. I hope this week goes by fast!
I'm still learning how to set my blogs up and put pictures in so bear with me.

What's going on...

Hello! We have decided to jump on the bandwagon and start a blog to keep everyone up to date with what we are doing. Danny is working hard at his new-ish job with Synovous and really enjoying it. I am still at North Columbus Eye Center and will have my 2 year anniversary at the end of this month. I am slowly working my way towards finishing my degree in Early Childhood Education. I guess I am taking the 10 year plan. I can't wait to be done. Danny and I have decided to take up running as a way to stay in shape. If all goes well, our ultimate plan is to run in the Disney World Marathon in January 2010. Please encourage us to meet this goal. Because it is 26.2 freakin' miles and I am NOT a runner. But if Oprah can do it, we surely can! More on this later.
P.S. I got the name for our blog from my friend Kristin. She dubbed us the Sassy-peppers. I guess this is our celebrity name, kinda like Bennifer or Brangelina. Ha.
